CAN I KEEP ASROCK X370 KILLER SLI ON 3.50 BRIDGE BIOS PC
I successfully updated the BIOS to 3.50 and then 4.60, following method 1 as outlined here: Įverything was still working fine after the updates (still using the Ryzen 3 1200) so I thought everything was good to swap CPUs.Īfter the CPU swap, I boot the PC but my monitor reports: no signal.

So I went over to the MOBOs BIOS download page to download 4.60, but noted that since my version was older than 3.50, I had to first download and update to 3.50 since it's a bridge BIOS. I also saw the same statement across forums and other websites. Pcpartpicker mentioned that the CPU is supported, but I would have to update the BIOS to version 4.60, the current BIOS version being 3.20. I wanted to swap it with a Ryzen 5 2600x, but before I did that I went to check compatibility on pcpartpicker to see if there were any gotchas. I'm swapping some parts on an old pc, notably the CPU. Hey guys, running into a bit of an issue with compatibility.
